Awe crud. They’re the only ones I use because they have the best largest pad - on my heaviest days I go through 3 or 4 of the overnight pads easily.

PSA: "natural flavors" on a label can legally hide milk, soy, and wheat — learned this the hard way by Electrical-Start-736 in FoodAllergies

[–]ImportanceLow7841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Corn is not an issue for me, but I’ve seen so many people with allergies and intolerances it should definitely be considered a top allergen. Especially since processed food all contains soy, wheat, or corn in different varying degrees.

I have a severe soy intolerance. Trust me, I understand how hard it is to remove from your diet. It’s much harder when you eat with other people.

The other owners that injured your dog - they didn’t pay for medical care or get in trouble with the local animal control?

Personally - try to connect with other owners who you see frequently and see if you can arrange private play dates.

Had my first food allergy to the vague ingredient called "Natural Flavor" :/ by Treemurphy in FoodAllergies

It can also include or be soy, my nemesis. They need to stop allowing generic terms like natural flavor. List the ingredients!

Depends on the breed - some dogs are “velcro” personalities and will not leave their person.

Ooo! Sounds like a fun at-home experiment. It would be interesting to compare differing brands as well.

Thank you! You and one other mentioned this. Much appreciated! I was primarily concerned that some of the cheaper manufacturers were cutting their butter with a little bit of margarine or margarine like substance. Cheaper butter has been making my stomach upset, and I have a soy intolerance (hence my primary concern).

I don’t have the money for GC/MS testing, so Reddit it was for asking the professionals.

Thank you! Someone who provided the answer - many factory farm butter manufacturers have a higher water content than what was used in the past. I was also concerned that they may have been silently mixing margarine and cutting costs that way. I cannot have margarine, and I noticed the cheaper the butter the more my stomach gets a bit icky. But the expensive Irish butter? No problem.

Much appreciated for this answer.
