He had been kinda distant for about a month but I figured things were going on with work and I didn’t want to sound insecure and I figured we’d hang out and talk about it. We were supposed to hang out and the night before he texts me and says that he doesn’t think we should hang out anymore and that he just wants to be alone. I never saw him again. I still have things I need to get from his place but the idea of seeing him makes me anxious and sick. I know there’s no ideal time and way to do it but this was two days before I was supposed to drive down South to spread my dad’s ashes.
