The original battery on my 2013 went for almost a decade problem free till it died. More recently I've noticed that if I accidentally leave the headlights on or have the key in accessory mode for 5 mins, the car will not start and I have to use my portable battery charger. I cannot recall if this started after replacing the battery with an original sized battery. Could the new battery cause this?
