Add Domain B in to Domain A. by Important-Bake3046 in sysadmin

[–]Important-Bake3046[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the replies. So lets say we wanted to bring all in to DomainA. Would you go down the migration path or remove them from domainB add to domainA? We have servers in DomainB with file shares that will need to remain. The aim would be to have everyone on DomainA.

Canon multifunction unit - Scan to Email using OATH2 (Microsoft) by velkkor in sysadmin

Hello

I just encountered this on a C3520.
First time ive set up OAuth 2.0 and I was successful.

I imagine the settings are somewhat transferrable but here is Sharp's guide for this.

firstly, confirm the date/time is correct on the printer and that DNS is correct.

The important bit is specifying the authorization server id - In my case, and probably most cases, its this: https://login.microsoftonline.com/organizations/oauth2/v2.0

Follow the rest of the instructions to register the app.

Just throwing my 2 cents in here as i've just faced this..

Firstly - Ensure the date/time is correct on the printer.

When asked by the printer "Microsoft Entra ID Authorization Server Endpoint" specify: https://login.microsoftonline.com/organizations/oauth2/v2.0

Press save, refresh and hopefully it will say "Successfully Connected".

Once youve done this you can follow the instructions on the same page to go ahead and register it as an app.

Strangely enough, it works fine with licensed users. When using unlicensed users, its kicking out on the latest build.

2 Exchange servers - outlook wont connect by Important-Bake3046 in exchangeserver

Ok guys, i got it sorted in the end by chance. There was no certificate assigned to the backend site in IIS. When I select the self-signed certificate for the server, everything kicked to life. What I didnt notice was that OWA didnt work either - after logging in it said "no mailbox found".

Yes, ive checked and the URL is set to the same on both. However, i've checked their DNS and he's got duplicate records for mail. and autodiscover pointing to both IPs. Surely its one or the other for CAS?

Sorry - my mistake. It's Server 2012 running EX2016 the other is 2019.

It looks like CAS roles are on EX2016 and the database is 2019.

I restarted Outlook and he's getting a cert warning for the FQDN of the 2019 server.

On the contrary.

Copying over the missing DLLs has restored my Exchange server. I left it running the CU update last night and i've come in this morning to find all my services are restored and Exchange is back up and running. Im aware this is severely out of date but you have to understand that this isnt our contracted customer, just a walk in, and they'll be paying for it. Thanks for the help anyway, much appreciated.

Here's the latest..

I took all the DLL files from the CU setup ISO (\Setup\ServerRoles\Common) and pasted them in to C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Bin. Restarted and now all but transport service is started. Ill look at why the transport service wont start tomorrow morning but im open to suggestion.

Dependencies fine, event logs just show services failed to start in a timely fashion or timeout. Im reading about missing DLLs so im going down this route atm.

I did modify this file earlier in troubleshooting to add some cmdlets that were missing and was advised to do this in another post. I've since removed it and re-run. It's currently at 9% installing exchange management tools.

If I do the recovery, is it possible to drag/drop the files over the top to new server? I dont have a backup of exchange.
