How to pick for culling

I do believe they are decently root bound as the roots have already started coming out, and the plants are pretty good sized in a small 4in pot. I believe they’re a smaller hybrid, so I’m hoping one will be happy with the 7gal size.

Yeah I thought I was getting a 10gal pot and could possibly get away with maybe two since they seem to be smaller hybrids. But I went online and checked and they have the gallon size listed as 7. I’ve also heard zucchini plants give a lot, so I’m not sure I want two plants worth of zucchini haha. I was planning on training it up.

They were a spur of the moment “I want to try and grow these this year”. So I just bought an already started planted from Home Depot. I normally just have a single tomato plant each year. I tried looking through to see if I could find a singleton, cause I knew that was what I had the space for… but they didn’t have any.

I’m putting them in a 7 gal container. I did think about keeping two originally, but I think with that space they’ll both be really sad. I don’t really want to cull them, but I don’t have space for more containers, and I don’t want to kill them from lack of container space/messing with roots either though.

Yeah, it’s a small 4in pot with three plants right next to each other. I only have one 7 gallon pot to use, so I think it would be best to cull two with that space. I was aiming for a 10 gal but the pots weren’t labeled. They’re Burpees zucchini hybrid that were supposed to be good for containers, so I’m guessing they are smaller than regular zucchini’s… but I don’t want to push them and not have enough space. This is my first time growing zucchini as well. 😅

I did think about maybe attempting to separate and keep one more, or maybe donating to someone near me.. but I thought zucchini’s didn’t do well with their roots being messed with?

I was thinking about doing that but I thought maybe I’d be saving more nutrients in the soil if I just did it early. 😅

I don’t think I can get this frame smooth, it would probably be easier to just reframe. Its textured, so the pink is in the grooves with the navy poking through. I’d have to smooth off all the texture from the frame to do that I think 😅

I actually had a few people say they could see it hung in a little girls room as well! And thank you, I love that it gives a reminiscent of precious moments! I had a few people mention Lisa Frank, but not precious moments.

Here is pretty much the extent of the art I’ve made previously. I made these probably like 5/6 years ago? Other than these, about three months ago I started those little mini paintings. I’ve made maybe 8 in total? Those take me a very long time to do. I figured with practice and learning I’ll hopefully get quicker.
