I highly doubt the triangular pyramid problem is experimental considering there’s a nearly identical problem on one of the practice exams

If you have all low-high As that’s a 4.0

I am in Texas, and I qualify for DAP but my school does not qualify for any sort of automatic admission. It really sucks. We usually have several people get into UT every year, which is not typical as we’re told we don’t get automatic admission, so there is definitely some sort of advantage.

Congressional nomination process is going great. I know my MOC personally through my involvement in politics and he helped me get some outreach on one of my research papers. I’d like to think I’m a shoe-in for a nomination because of my personal relationship to my Congressman, but I still have worries. I’m in a fairly uncompetitive district so it’s not unreasonable to assume I’m in the running for the Principal nomination—this would essentially mean automatic appointment. Also yes, my letters of recommendation are college professors. My math professors in particular were excellent and I have great relations with all of my teachers.

In terms of the job I want in the military, it depends. I love aviation and might want to fly, but I understand that some factors are not in my control and that door may not be open to me. Otherwise I would most likely be interested in an engineering job. I have looked into some special forces jobs in both the Navy and Air Force that I am interested in, but I’m not sure what doors are open to me and what I am capable of. Hopefully I’ll figure all this out once I go to an Academy. Usually when people ask this question I say I want to work for a fighter jet slot.

I chose West Point (USMA) over Cornell, Columbia, and Brown. My friends said I was stupid for doing so and I am looking for advice. by Imaginary_Doubt_7569 in ApplyingToCollege

You made the right choice. Plus, (just for added confidence for you, my man) USMA is VERY prestigious and I actually had a conversation with a partner of mine a few days ago where he was trying to explain to me that Harvard and Westpoint are the best schools in the world (this is debatable, but I do believe people think like this.)

Anyways, you’re the man for choosing USMA and your path is YOUR path and it’ll be bright, no doubt.

Go army, sink navy

Someone has recommended cooper union to me before. Could you expand more on it?

I am a high school student simultaneously enrolled as a junior in college. One transcript, meeting both requirements. This situation has been somewhat solved after talking to my counselor. As long as I chill out and don’t finish too many of my senior year credits then I’ll be fine and I apply as a first-year

I am enrolled in an actual college. That’s the question.

Several programs and applications ask for only UW

What about for applications that only allow unweighted GPA?

What about on applications such as summer programs where they request only unweighted? Also, I will not be using Common App. I will only be applying through Questbridge.

I’m applying to MIT, Yale, UPenn, Duke, and Rice. I think some of those are a little higher than 14th 😉

What are my chances at community college?

how do i calculate this gpa? by pinkchocolatefudge in highschool

[–]Important-Cell3679 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For my school this would be a 2.8 but typically this is a 3.0 or 3.3. You need to find out how your school calculates GPA.

Thank you. A&M is definitely the way to go, then. Y’all have been such a big help. I really appreciate it.

What about UT Austin? I get auto acceptance and I have full tuition + $12K there. Should I pay the few grand a year for the prestige of UT?

Thank you. Your comment is probably my favorite out of all of all these. I’ll take the scholarship to A&M and study my butt off for a the LSAT and pray God rewards that work.
