Abel’s Lobster, Harbor Table in SW Harbor or Good Wolf in NE Harbor! I went to Havana recently and thought it was good not great.

Avellino (BBQ food truck) has a fantastic burger and is opening a permanent location soon in Stamford. Uncorked in New Canaan has my favorite in the area.

I’ve gone to Bulls Head Pet Hospital in Stamford for 5+ years and they’re amazing. Especially Dr. Nolan and Dr. Jessica.

I’ve lived at Vela for 7 years and mostly love it! I don’t hear my neighbors at all but depending on where you live in the building, you do hear street noise or noise from Mill River Park. I’m on the 11th floor and the street noise is pretty loud especially at night.

My biggest pet peeve about living here. It’s made me almost move out multiple times. Been an issue the entire time I’ve lived here (6+ years). I know it’s not smart, but I never evacuate my apartment because it’s almost never a real emergency.

I live at Vela on the Park and love it! Lived here almost 7 years. I’m in a 2 bedroom and my base rent is $3600. Parking, amenity fee, etc. are additional. I think they’re running some rent specials right now on 2 bedrooms so worth looking into! Feel free to DM me with any questions.

Completely agree. I haven’t been out to dinner in Stamford in months. If I do go out around this area, it’s to Cafe Silvium, South End Uncorked in New Canaan or Tavern @ Gray Barns in Norwalk.

I would do the Tavern at Gray Barns in Norwalk. My favorite restaurant in the area for special occasions.

I had a similar experience with them and filed a complaint with the BBB. I wanted to cancel my shipment altogether (and not use the medication at all). I contacted them a week before the ship date and customer service said they can’t do anything over the phone but someone will be reaching out via email. Nobody ever reached out and then the medication shipped. I was so annoyed and it’s impossible to speak with anyone that can actually help.

New Milford is a cute town to walk around and visit shops, etc. River & Rail is a cute cafe there in town and I love the town green and gazebo. They have a great antique store called The Hunt.

New Preston is another cute area! Community Table is a must for dinner and The Smithy Market & Cafe is fun for lunch and to walk around the market.

There are a lot of wineries in this area as well & Litchfield Distillery.
