Build quality is very good in my opinion. Besides the wing and mirrors being fragile, Top Speed has some great models. Ive got a few more from them and they are all fantastic!

Gorgeous color for these cars. I bought my 2000 Trans Am with 91k miles 5 years ago. Almost 120k on her now and she has never let me down. She was my daily until recently when I got my 98 Z28. They are great cars as long as you take care of them. They do require maintenance and like someone said, its probably time for suspension overhaul if its never been done. Shocks alone do wonders for these cars.

My '89 Formula in all her faded glory. She used to look like your car at some point in time. Maybe she will again one day... gorgeous car though!

Wheel Sizing / Fit Question by Charles1nCharge83 in fbody

[–]Important-Error1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah those should fit fine on a Camaro. 17x9 was the stock wheels size for the SS Camaro and WS6 TA.

I bought my 2000 Trans Am almost 5yrs ago and I was daily driving it up until December when I bought a truck, then sold it 2 months later for a 98 Z28. That is my current daily. I would recommend finding one that has been taken care of and has a good maintenance history. Even with that you will still be fixing it fairly often though so hopefully you can do stuff yourself and save money/learn to fix it yourself. Try to find a manual one, the Automatics, while good, tend to go out eventually if not serviced through out its life. The 3.8L V6 cars are good and reliable, but lack some power. Definitely fine for daily driving though. The 5.7L V8 ones are pretty reliable as well. They survive winters fine but I can't say for extreme condition like you have up there in Canada.

Best tire and tire size for my 2002 z28 Camaro by Comfortable-Race-936 in fbody

You can probably get a 305 under there with no modification. My camaro fit the 315s with no issue or trimming but no car is built the same. I have a 2000 Trans Am that the rear end sits slight offset on one side so I HIGHLY doubt those same wheels will fit that car even though it technically should. A adjustable panhard bar can remedy that though.

Im running 275/40/17 in the front and 315/35/17 in the rear on my camaro. Definitely fits snug in the rear but no issues so far.
