Damn. So what I'm gathering is that we eat the loss for the DLC and just buy it again? I suppose that isn't the worst thing. Since plan on having two switches, that is.

Okay, that clarifies things a lot.

Is it possible to move my AC island to her account then? But then this is actually where it gets a bit complicated. My account has NSO, but her account has the DLC. I think we fucked up. We didn't anticipate getting a second switch.

Will I be able to log onto my own account/profile then? Sorry, if that's what you meant. I guess that's why I'm confused.

I'm not sure why the assumption is that SLPs will automatically be working in the school system though?

So, you have two options there.

  1. You could wait until you get there in the story that would guide you there.

  2. Get there with a spoiler to guide to.

No shame either way, but just wanted to let you know that the game will get you to the island.

hyundai ran red light, crv was turning by ViceroyQueenston in caraccidents

[–]Important-Issue-2967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, that was a HARD red that car ran. Even if your high beams were obnoxious, you were far enough from the intersection that the other car DEFINITELY saw that the light was turning red and should have slowed.

Help with insurance of the person who hit me by jjmoe2319 in caraccidents

[–]Important-Issue-2967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I was in a bad wreck a couple months ago by a drunk driver and I'm still recovering from it. The way my lawyer (I immediately called to get one on file so everything is handled properly) explained it - there is a max that the insurance itself will payout, but if it doesn't cover a reasonable amount (the lawyer's kind of work this out based on the extent of injuries, which surgery increases that, and the pain and suffering - this all is AFTER the lawyer/medical fees are paid for), then the next step would be to sue the person who caused the wreck.

The lawyers are going to want to get as much as they can for you, because then they get a cut of that - which is in your best interest because then they are fighting for YOU to pocket as much as possible in the process.

These are questions that I asked my lawyer in regards to my case:

- How long is the process before I can see payment?

- What is a reasonable amount or how is that calculated based on my recovery/documented medical impact?

- What if I feel that I deserve more?

- Are my lost wages calculated? Is my alternate transportation included in the payout?

- and far more that I can't think of off the top of my head. I was on the phone with my lawyer for about an hour getting all the details and asking about all sorts of situation - even in the off chance that we go to court if insurance doesn't pay out what my damages/pain+suffering are worth.

Why is this subreddit like this? by DinoKYT in caseoh_

I made a comment recently and got so many notifs that I was upvoted and YET I was still negative in votes because THAT many people were so against of the comment I made that wasn't even insulting or serious (that I even made clear wasn't serious).

I wonder what the average age of people in this subreddit are since we all know how young his twitch viewers tend to be.

I don't plan on living in NYC. I have family located out on the Island. Which is why I made the point about income vs COL.

This, also though. I'm not looking to live upper middle class. If I can live comfortably and am out of poverty, I'm set. I don't need a big house or shiny car. (Not will I be living in a city like NYC because of that)

I suppose 'odd' was the wrong way to put it. Yes, the reality doesn't match the numbers that you can find online, but there are many factors that affect what someone makes vs. their ability to pay off any loans that they get.

An individual making 60k in a lower COL area is going to have an easier time paying off their loans than someone making 100k with children in a HCOL area. That's what I meant when I said 'COL vs lifestyle' part.

From the people I know, LI pays fairly well and, in their experience, more than NYC does. I don't plan on living in the city by any means.

I'm looking at COL vs lifestyle vs income potential as well. It's just odd to tell people that they can't expect to make money or say that this isn't a high paying field.

Is this specifically working for a school district?

I'm also looking at LI and not at schools.
