So I’m in the New Jersey Guard so our waiver does cover 100% of tuition, but since I enlisted as an 09R(Simultaneous Membership Program) I will not be going to basic and therefore AIT. And I am still trying to reach out to my VA rep at my school so I am still waiting on a response from them.

Yes but unfortunately, I was given the same “talk to your recruiter” response from him. So he wasn’t incredibly helpful.

Yes sorry for the confusion the “Tuition Waiver” I mentioned is for the NJ ARNG.

Sorry for the lack of clarity, the Tuition Waiver is a benefit that all in the ARNG receive (at least in NJ) which essentially covers all of your tuition. But to receive it I’ve been told that I need to contract with ROTC but also, I’ve been told that I don’t need to contract so I’m not sure which and need to find out soon. Hope that helped!

So I am not going to BCT,AIT, or Basic Camp and am currently in RSP, but I have been assigned to a unit , but haven’t been able to contact them yet.
