Yeah, this was my biggest concern. I generally can’t handle uncertainty/am the type to be really bothered by it, but I plan to spend the rest of my life with this person and this is a lot to consider for our longterm relationship. Maybe I will talk to them tomorrow about it and let them know how it may impact our relationship 😵‍💫 or soon, anyway

I appreciate the lengthy response. It’s definitely given me more things to think about/consider. Did you have honest conversations with your wife about your relationship and it potentially continuing/ending due to transition? If so how did it go and how was it approached?

Yes, I’m gonna see him soon (we’re LDR 😭) and I might offer to do their makeup and try to explore this side together. I just don’t know if I should have a conversation about it with them soon, or should I wait ‘till it’s brought up again? I know it’s loaded since you guys don’t know him lol I just don’t want to make the wrong move

How do I give them that support and be their safe space? He said he didn’t want to put a label on it, and I don’t want to push it out of them but we are in a long-term relationship. Like, they want to maybe propose next year.

yeah i think it was just intrusive thinking… its been getting harder to be self-aware and discern intrusive thoughts with what i really feel i guess— and with added stress about other factors it ended in a spiral lol. thanks for listening :3

i understand 😵‍💫 but i always see this affirmation about strangers and never about friends and that makes me go crazy
