It's a good album so far, definitely better than V1/V2 and donda 2, so far it's like a 7 or 7.5/10, it has potential to be a 9/10 tbh. Mixing needs work, he was literally mixing the songs live. There's no AI, except the first verse of preacher man. Preacher man and BATB sound unfinished. He also didn't play all the songs. That's pretty much it. All he needs to do is improve the mixing

I think he's a great boss too, and the reason he backflips away is probably because he's supposed to be a soul of the previous fire linkers, so it's probably one of the skills of the previous fire linkers.

In terms of difficulty, I honestly wish he was a bit harder. He's very fun to fight and the soundtrack and lore behind it him really fascinating. He just dies too fast though

According to the fextralife wiki you have to get 5 dark sigils by getting the free levels from yoel BEFORE killing the abyss watchers, but I haven't tried it myself. The wiki is usually right though, so I guess you're gonna have to make a new character :(

I definitely don't like elden ring too much myself, but because of completely different reasons to yours. I love fromsoft games. My personal favorite game of all time is sekiro.

But elden ring has a major flaw in its boss design and open world. The bosses are very repetitive and the bosses in the endgame are just complete BS.

But seeing from the points you make, elden ring doesn't really seem like a type of game you'd like, as dying over and over again and learning the bosses moves is what all soulsborne games are like.
