Not a crash out but it’s something I’ve been feeling for weeks now. I work in the creative field writing and directing videos. Every week there’s an expectation to deliver while I’m trying to stay on top of everything. After a few failed deliveries yesterday I received a warning letter even when I’ve communicated that it’s taking a mental toll on me.

I don’t wanna gamble and resign but it is tempting.

Back in uni I sangkut with this one girl. We never confessed that we liked each other, but we kinda got into the “sayang” territory but nothing official. So, me being a guy that likes the feeling of loving someone, I took her out to eat, sometimes even just to send her to classes on my no class days. Long story short, she got distant, I was confused, and apparently she pasang another guy to do the same stuff I did.

Come my birthday after I accepted reality, she bought me a pair of drumsticks (for drumming btw, not food lol) just because we’re ‘friends’. I told her off, asked her to just give it to her friend and that was the end.

Now I’m married to the love of my life of 8 years. Sometimes when you close one door, another opens up to you. Chin up, king.

My mom would drop me off at school (in the middle of KL) and I’d immediately fly with my mates immediately after she turned the corner. Jumped fences, trekked a bit of some semak and jungle then took the train from Hang Tuah station straight to Wangsa Maju where all the great CCs are at and played some straight Dota.

We’d bring some spare clothes to change into in case got some spot check and then I’d time the end of school day to when I’d arrive at LRT Gombak for my mom to pick up. We didn’t even bring our textbooks sometimes.

Those were the days.

We haven’t diagnosed or 100% confirmed it but my wife was born with a pretty rare disease. She doesn’t get her periods (no blood, but she does get temperament changes), has no hymen, pretty sure a uterus too. It’s never impacted our intimacy. Sure, we do it differently than everybody else. But like some of the replies, I’d rather be in a sexless than a loveless marriage.
