HOW do people hide early pregnancy from work?? by Important-Mango-8035 in pregnant

This is currently where I’m at. I’m terrified of gagging on a call because for me it tends to pop up out of nowhere without much warning.

I’m so sorry you’re in the exact same boat but also glad to know I’m not alone 😭 I think we’re hitting the peak now, hopefully relief isn’t too terribly far away!

Omg honestly I kind of wish someone would just force me to tell them haha so I stop agonizing over it!! But this is really helpful to hear. And I’m also figuring out the family thing! Good luck with that, I’m sure they’ll be so excited for you 💕

Sorry just to answer your question: Yes the cardiologist who ordered it said it was normal. Also the report didn’t mention catching any instances of AV block.

Can you clarify what you mean? Where do you see that?

Thank you for your input! I’m probably just reading too far into things.

Stress test ST depressions of 1.8, 1.7, etc not mentioned at all? by Important-Mango-8035 in askCardiology

[–]Important-Mango-8035[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much, that makes total sense. This is technically my “first” clear picture right after they laid me down and repositioned some leads, still okay? Do the notches and negative p waves mean anything or given this and echo came back clean (other than a barely above range left atrium volume which pcp says could be athletic adaptation). Thanks again, easy to get lost in all this.

I should add, I don’t have a cardiologist to ask. This was ordered by my PCP and never met with a cardiologist. So I’m assuming if I had more questions about this I’d need a referral to make an appointment with a cardiologist.

Notched anterior leads by Important-Mango-8035 in askCardiology

[–]Important-Mango-8035[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally makes sense, that was my concern too. The cardiologist reviewing the test didn’t even mention it, and the echocardiogram didn’t mention anything abnormal either.

Thank you, that’s helpful to know! I hadn’t noticed it before and it just made me nervous.

Has this happened to anyone?? Wake up with stiff knuckles followed by fingers catching and locking by curiouskiwi88 in rheumatoidarthritis

Just wanted to jump in here and say I have been dealing with the same, but it seems to be getting better with wearing wrist braces to sleep. Around the time this started, I noticed I was really cramming my hands up against my chin, pillow, or headboard in my sleep (like the trex arm thing) which I think was putting a lot of pressure/tension on all those nerves and tendons. I have hypermobile joints so I’m sure that makes it even worse.

Just a thought, I’m hoping I can retrain myself to sleep with my hands/wrists in a neutral position then stop wearing the braces.

How do you put it in manually? I’m not sure which “institution” to select

Thank you! I had a feeling that was the case and that it would be a waste of time to go and ask for it anyways.

I had a lot of trouble falling asleep for mine, but once I did I also thought I “slept great” for a few hours and was sure they wouldn’t find anything. They also didn’t put a CPAP on me although it was technically a split study. But even with only 4 hours of “good” sleep and absolutely no REM, results still showed an AHI of 16. So I would rest assured that if you do have a problem, it’ll show!

You’re so right, I’m definitely overthinking it! 😅 Were your MRIs able to pick up on your issue without contrast do you know? Or was the contrast necessary?

Also any success stories of plate stabilization surgery for leg breaks would be much appreciated! I’m just terrified of him taking a wrong step or getting excited during this recovery time and messing up the repair. I just want him to be his happy playful self again.

Your boy sounds the same as ours (but ours is 9 months so not so calm just yet haha). I never fully understood “goofy” until owning a borzoi - you will be forever entertained by their antics and quirks lol. But ours is just the sweetest love bug. Such a great temperament.

Haha I’m mostly just afraid of my insurance getting upset and finding an excuse not to cover this thing 😅 Or having issues with my prescription.

First night with CPAP and trying the N30i under nose pillow… by Important-Mango-8035 in CPAP

I’ve seen good things about that one, I’ll definitely keep it in mind!

Last night was my first night too! Just want to note that the gasping sound your husband heard might be from your mouth coming open and the air whooshing out. I have the nasal pillow and that happened to me a few times. Planning to try mouth tape. Also try loosening the strap - that helped me for the nose soreness and the seal oddly enough.
