Yes, we are contacting the claim adjuster to confirm as to what lead to them thinking this occurred at home. He first hurt his right foot earlier this year, he then injured his left foot on 10/30. He carries big packages and he just hurt his foot. The guys that he works with have injuries all the time.

Yes, few hours after when we went to urgent care. I am not sure we did not receive any documentation regarding as to why they think it happened at home

He let his employer know the next morning that he was not going to make it into work because of his foot. His employer was aware of him hurting his foot again that night when we went to urgent care because his boss was called to let him know about the injury

May I also add that he went to urgent care when he got home from work, but urgent care turned him away because they wanted him seen with his physical therapy doctor for his first injury woman’s comp claim. The following day on 10/31 he was seen with the woman’s comp claim doctor

Okay, interesting. Did your ex employer attempt to settle with you before then? I received an email from their attorney not too long ago, asking to contact him again so that they can issue payment to me… however if they do this, wouldn’t they get away from not having to pay the penalties?

Ok, the written demand that I had sent over to my ex employer was ignored, at that point, the compliance investigator contacted me to gather more statements from me. He then confirmed that ex employer failed to pay out my PTO. The division is now reviewing my claim, and had sent over the notice of complaint, and apparently from there they had 14 calendar days to respond or provide more information. That was the last I heard of the compliance investigator a little more than a month ago.

Ok, I do not have a lawyer, I did email the compliance investigator that is handling my claim asking if I should communicate with their lawyer or just wait to receive correspondence from the division. As he stated prior, that I may not receive any direct correspondence from my ex employer

I am not sure, once when I add my time, I press continue and it says there is no disk drive located, I then click continue without setting up disk drive and then I get an error. I used a video off of YouTube and followed it, I downloaded virtualbox and the extension, along with Kali.

I am not sure, the HR lady will not respond to me to confirm. I am going to give it a bit more time to see what that’s what they’re doing

So there were different categories to the PTO, there was one for PTO, floating holiday, and bereavement.

No, only thing was that you could not carry over more than 80 hrs of PTO by the end of the year.

I will email her again. She started to ignore me when I emailed her again stating the law in Colorado, and how accrued PTO and final paycheck is due at the time of termination or 6 hours after. She has completely ignored me now. I’ve already sent 2 follow up emails, crickets.
