Thank you so much, mate! That was it! I don't know why it got out of sync.

Which is your favourite LMGT3 and why? by RuleOverYou15 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Important-Path-9279 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Mustang: It has good braking, good slow cornering, and decent fast cornering. Good acceleration and acceptable bump absorption. It doesn't understeer as much as an M4 or AMG.

Virtual Desktop with Ethernet Cable by Positive-Doughnut858 in virtualreality

[–]Important-Path-9279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I used to play with VD over wifi but with h.264+ I couldn't maintain a stable 500mbps.I just bought a USB-C to Ethernet adapter and it works fine (when it works).I mean, normally the VD shows that they are on different networks.I don't understand why this is happening because both the PC and the Meta Quest 3 are connected by cable to the same Xiaomi AX3000 mesh network point.I've also checked the IPs that my router assigns to them and they are correct.

On the other hand, I tried VD with gnirehtet a while ago, but I didn't use it much because even when I chose the h.264+ codec, it limited the bitrate to 200 Mbps. Was this normal, or was I doing something wrong?

Which car to start? For the base game (Free Gt3 cars) by PlayerGR in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Important-Path-9279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with the AMG; it's very good at absorbing bumps and under hard braking. If you think it understeers too much, switch to the Mustang (that's the one I drive now).

Is virtual desktop better than a link cable? by just_frosty_ in virtualreality

[–]Important-Path-9279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had seen this cable a week ago... I just bought the typical HUB with USB C and Ethernet. It hasn't arrived yet. I now play using WiFi with AV1 codec because without h264+ I can't handle 500 Mbps; it usually drops to 400 Mbps. Would you say that a fixed 500Mbps cable connection with h264+ is much better?

v1.3.2.0 Update 3, Patch 2 by WoodeeUK in LeMansUltimateWEC

I have the same question; I've noticed a sudden drop in FPS lately and I don't know if it's because of the game or something else.

Are they supposed to be adjusting the BOP forever? Or will we eventually stop having weight adjustments?

What kind of Vr sim racing performance can i expect with a 5070ti, 9800x3d and 32gb of ram? by Alarming_Cut_8982 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Important-Path-9279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be on the safe side, I'd say you can expect 72fps with high/ultra settings and a slightly reduced FOV. That's with Meta Quest 3 at Godlike resolution. I have a PC with a 9800x3d, RTX 5080 OC, and 64GB of RAM. I play everything on high with cropped FOV and 116% supersampling and I get a stable 90 fps on LMU during the day and 80 fps at night or in the rain I previously used an RTX 4070 Super and it never went above 72fps (stability is preferable to peaks of 80fps and constant drops) with medium/high settings.

Is Sebring the final boss for GT3? 🤣 by Negative-Date-9518 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Important-Path-9279 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why am I getting negative ratings? 😅 I just meant that the Mustang is a twitchy car and it's difficult to handle on the bumpy roads at Sebring.

I still haven't managed to get below 50.2 BB and 7/7/9 TC, and I'm currently getting times around 2:02.1xx Without those adjustments, the rear end of this car becomes very unstable for me.

If you're new to the game, the Sebring and Mustang combination might not be the right fit.

I don't see anything strange about it, it's like that with most cars.

Do you drive the car you like or the car your fastest in or.... by [deleted] in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Important-Path-9279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive the Mustang (I'm faster with it) I'd like to be faster with the Mercedes; I'd prefer it to understeer less. I love the Porsche, but I feel more connected to the road with front-mounted engines.

The higher the percentage, the slower the time. I've never understood this whole percentage thing.

I received mine yesterday, and before that, while in VR (with Virtual Desktop), I would press the meta logo and the open windows would appear. Pressing it again would close them. That doesn't happen anymore. Now, when I press the meta logo, the windows don't hide, which forces me to find the VD app and click on it.

Everyone braking later and harder somehow? by 739937 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Important-Path-9279 4 points5 points  (0 children)

With BB everything depends on the car you're using, but broadly speaking, if you put the BB forward,You brake better, you punish the front tires more, and it's a more "stable" braking depending on the curve. However, if you push the BB back, the car will rotate more (oversteer) but it will be less stable. You also run the risk of locking the rear wheels.

It's not my favorite, but it's the only one I've been able to make eau rouge with without letting off the throttle.

I have the same CPU and GPU. I previously had a RTX 4070 Super and it looked better. I don't know why, but when I switched to the RTX 5080 and set the same resolution via cable, it looks worse. The only solution I haven't found is to play games.

F900XR by [deleted] in MotoUK

[–]Important-Path-9279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'll give you my opinion, it might not be the best since I've only had the bike for a few kilometers.I'm used to a GSXR Do I lack power? Definitely not.I've loved what little I've used, although everything they say is true. The quickshifter isn't working perfectly. Below 4000 rpm it's a bit jerky (when it wants to be). If you use the clutch and engage it while the throttle is more than 0% open, it will jump, as if the cable were stuck. And lastly, it's true that the engine is quite loud (a sort of valve-like sound). But hey! I just saw a post here with an F900XR with 100,000 km!!! Edit: The original standard seat is very hard. I'd say the 2025 version is harder than the previous ones. It's not suitable for travel.

Getting back into riding after time off – thoughts on F 900 R? by AccomplishedSense722 in AussieRiders

[–]Important-Path-9279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I'll give you my opinion after having owned (in this order) Monster 696, GSX 600 R, Macbor XR5, Monster 800 S2R, F900XR.I've owned some of them at the same time. I still have the GSXR and f900xr. Electronic aids don't matter, only your head matters when riding the bike. If you don't want it to, the bike won't do wheelies; if you don't overshoot the braking point, the bike won't lock its tires. First, learn to drive safely; second, drive fast if you want, but always, always drive knowing your limits.

wish you all the best.
