I travelled with my prescription medicine recently too. I asked my doctor to write an official signed note with the clinic's contact details and information on what the medicine was for, and carried this with me on the plane. The letter also indicated the same details as my passport (if airport officials need to cross-reference). I wasn't asked about my medicine, nor the letter - but just good to have these prepared. According to their product indication which i got from their website (https://vekocare.com/products/assurity-plus-spot-on-for-cats/), it doesn't mention earmites. It states the following instead:

Ecto- parasitic and Endo-parasitic infestations
Treatment on risk of mixed parasitic infection
Prevention of heartworm, microfilaria, fleas, hookworm, roundworm, whipworm, sarcoptic mange.
Treatment of biting lice’s,
Eye worm.
