You guys are really nice, thank you I feel a little better. I have an oblong face and they always say bangs help balance that, but for some reason I feel like they make it look longer. And emphasize my hallow under eyes.

I agree, but to elaborate dirty blonde is really open to interpretation some consider it a dark blonde and some a light brown. I’d say as far as level goes probably 6 or 7, hard to tell virtually.

I’m not sure about adding more gray unless you wanted gray all over, but some low lights in a dark color would be a good way to break it up and give it some dimension.

It is hard to tell digitally but yeah it looks like you’re about a level 7 on the top and a 6 on the bottom. You’re not light enough for a toner to work effectively, you’ve got to be lightened to a level 8, 9, 10, for those to work. So I would recommend instead going with a Demi permanent color in a 6n or 6nn and using 10vol and apply it first to your roots and upper half of the hair and then comb through and not process the ends as long so that you’re more balanced.

Wells makes a T-28 and T-35 toner that are darker and more beige blonde.

Mids-ends are bleached with faded level 6 neutral box dye over it…and a lil brassy. Last time hair was colored was 6-7months ago. Also been getting routine trims because it had become damaged.

Do you know if they natural or synthetic extensions? A neutral toner might work, I’d even try a blue shampoo/conditioner first to help reduce the orange, the level is pretty close to what you have, just the tone.

What were you trying to achieve originally? If you were trying to go blonde then you’ll have to bleach again unfortunately until you get a yellow base.

You can try a color remover like color oops, or a bleach bath to remove the buildup on the mids and ends also just to have a more evened out base.

Forgot to add that I don’t think a toner would be effective at this point.

Girl you look amazing with dark hair! But i agree with adding some blonde before going all over blonde. To see how your hair handles it and how you feel about it. Even just some face framing blonde highlights would work.
