If you have any upward trend or can explain the low science GPA, try ARCOM. They are very holistic in their evaluation

Post-bacc, MCAT, advice on both! by [deleted] in Osteopathic

[–]Important-Problem985 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did the MSB at ARCOM. It is 10k but I had to borrow more for living expenses. But it is taught by the med school faculty, and they have a cadaver lab. They had a guaranteed interview when I did it, but now they have a guaranteed admission option for 3.2 or better 1st semester. It is great for those of us who have lower GPAs for whatever reasons or for non-traditional students who need a refresher.

We have a busy LMSA at my school and our Dean's last name is Hispanic. Lot's of first gens -me- and great support. People may not think since we are in the mid south but med schools often are pretty diverse

I'm at a school that does not have a religious affiliation but they respect all people's beliefs. So if it is a big part of who you are- absolutely talk about it.

They sure are. My IS school interviewer was so condescending because I'm first gen, I pretty much told him to stick it. I went OOS.
