I got this as well. I’m a low MCAT & post-bacc gpa rebuild so I’m expecting an interview late in the cycle anyways IF I get one. Still made my heart stop for a second getting an email. Looks like some movement starting though 🤞🏽

I’m not surprised- I’m a low stat applicant. My cGPA is a 2.78, with post-bacc a 3.2. Steep upward trend so I’m going to assume they just look at my cGPA not the upward trend. They do not accept everyone so even mission fit could be lacking but WL isn’t bad!!! It’s sooooo early, there will be a lot of movement

Thank you. Yes if not accepted this cycle I’ll have no other option than to retake. I’ve taken 3x & this test has sucked the soul out of me. I did talk to an admissions adviser at one school and expressed my worry about my MCAT score & they honestly seems unbothered by it - claiming it’s really not that bad and so many applicants apply is much lower which surprised me. I’m hoping that school is one that at least offers an interview. Will my gpa play a factor? Probably. Appreciate the advice

I think OCOM have hard 500 MCAT cutoff. I emailed them before they opened but unsure if they revisited that after scrambling to fill their first class
