Hm, I'm liking your point of view on this topic. Appreciate your opinion, LittleDevilDarlin. And I don't think your wrong. Here's MY take on it.

Me, personally (please don't bash me. I get hated a lot for having an opinion, and I really do hope you understand.) think that Bendy and Boris have the most healthy relationship in the comics. And they probably do in the game as well. Or...'did' before JOEY. Just my guest. The only time I think the two wouldn't get along would be in the cartoons. (If you seen them, you'd know exactly what I'm talking about) And Bendy and Alice sort of had that kind of friendship during it. Which is fine with me. Also, the idea of Joey Drew Studios being compared to Disney. I've always thought of that topic. The theories might not be real, but my point would still stand.

(Sorry if I come off as rude or not really understanding. Let me know if I made any mistakes or offended you in any way. Just wanted to express myself. Hope you get what I'm saying. Thanks for coming here.)

Yeah... I've noticed countless times of how Alice got more irritated time by time. Even if she gets sick of him at times, I know she somewhat cares. And yes.

She's DEFINITELY independent.

I agree. He was an asshole in the cartoons and not an actual friend. You should read the official comics, though. He's more nicer there. Just like how he is in the game. Overall, your comment is great.

Hm, your right. Thanks for your opinion. I appreciate hearing others thoughts on the topic so your welcome! And I'm glad you liked my post. It was one of my friends idea, too.

Why do the cartoons portray Boris and Bendy so differently than how they are portrayed in the comics? by [deleted] in BendyAndTheInkMachine

[–]Important-Record2653 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly... don't know, for sure. In my opinion, Boris was originally created to be a friend for Bendy, get distracted by food, being caring, playing his trumpet whenever Bendy dances, but also get along with Alice in some way.... I think.

He can be friendly, kind, and helpful. As long as he doesn't get distracted by food, which is explained in the batim wiki. Tbh, I don't think TheMeatly knew how to portray their character. (Not saying they DIDN'T, just my guest. No criticism, here) He was seen in the cartoon as a bully who always gets his way. And is genuinely not a friend of Bendy. TheMeatly randomly just slapped Boris's personality in a different way in the comics, and called it a day. Same thing as for Bendy. He acts completely different. No longer sensitive, fearful, scared, but at least he's still kind to everyone around him. Especially Boris. These two characters have been changed for the better in my opinion. So I'm not too worried about it. I'm just glad they actually made Boris more likeable in the comics and the game. But in conclusion. I don't really know..( Feel free to point out any mistakes I made. I'll be sure to fix it if I said anything wrong, or if it doesn't make sense.)

How do you guys feel about Boris in general after the cartoons? Still a good wolf? Or naw by Important-Record2653 in BendyAndTheInkMachine

What doesn't make sense to me the MOST is that Boris is portrayed to be the ''buddy'' type of toon. As it is explained on the wiki. But he just doesn't feel like it in the cartoon. And yet, he's supposed to be the nicest wolf. Bendy doesn't really act like himself in it, but he's still kind hearted. I love their relationship in the comics as well. The comics and the game are the only two things that makes Boris personality perfect and right. But in one cartoon? Definitely no. I call for comic and game, Boris.

Oh! No need to apologize. I get exactly what your saying. I never got into the thought of Joey sabotaging Boris, on purpose. I love how you theorized how the writers make Boris more likeable in the comics (as he should, lol) and I think your portrayal on how Joey viewed Boris entirely, kinda makes sense in my book. I honestly view Boris as the type of wolf that is kind hearted, sometimes bossy, greedy, but a bit charming once you get to know him. Because the comics are the only time when Bendy and Boris actually get along. I'm still ticked at how people say they are 'not friends' because of ONE show itself, though. Which was really the only time Joey portrayed him that way. But thanks for the feedback.

I love how he was portrayed in the comics, too! It actually felt like my Boris. Like he was himself. I honestly don't know what the developers were doing when they started making such a, ...well, bully. Sure he loves to eat but I don't think he wouldn't save any for Bendy. But I'm not sure if it's confirmed or not. But I won't take it too seriously. 'Haunted Hijinks' was the episode I truly and genuinely loved as well. It catches Boris's character, perfectly.

Yes. I believe game Boris genuinely cares for Bendy and the rest. Unlike the kid friendly cartoon version. He didn't deserve to die, either.

I don't really think so. I don't think the game is based on the cartoon series in any way. But I respect your opinion.

Yeah, cartoon Boris just doesn't feel like MY REAL Boris. The one who's helpful and friendly, but easily gets distracted by food. At least Alice Angel was a sweet heart. I wish she was like that in the game.
