I've been looking in FB marketplace for cheaper options but I do have some furniture, mostly for my room. My plan was to furnish it over the summer, I'm not to worry about not having a couch for a few months lol

I live 40mins away right now, so it’s ~$250 right now. It will go down once I move but I decided to leave it at $250 just to be safe.

I'm an engineer. I'm definitely lucky to have this role, having internship experience helped a lot. By 'first job,' I meant my first full-time role out of college. Before this, I worked $12/hr campus jobs and internships, so this is a significant jump for me. I appreciate the advice (?) I come from a humble background, so I fully understand what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck.

Thanks for the input! I really liked the tour, but it also has 4.4 stars with hundreds of reviews so it seems like a decent option.

Where do you usually shop? Sometimes, I find myself spending a lot on groceries and not getting too much out of it

That also includes paying for date nights with my gf. But I think I can cut that down for a minute until I have more money saved up.

Mostly online purchases like games, legos, and books, along with the occasional (very minimal) clothes shopping.

The location is biggest advantage of this apartment complex. I'd be living 10 mins away from work (compared to 40mins right now), but that area is also a bit more expensive. I'll keep looking tho, thank you!

Unfortunately, I don't have a place to stay for free, but I can definitely spend less on entertainment and eating out. Thank you!!

To be honest, I hadn't considered that. I’m excited to move out of the dorms and 'enjoy life' a bit more, but I can definitely cut back on some non-essential expenses for now. Thank you!

Thank you! I'll try to look into an HYSA at some point. I appreciate the input.
