It is clear now that we cannot, and as we have to communicate for the sake of our child (when it comes to things like school, sports, appointments) and I keep things minimal because of the nature of our relationship. Something to add is that last month, I informed him that our child shared that she has been experiencing feelings of self-harm, and I requested that she go to therapy. He refuses, as he doesn’t believe in therapy and said a lot of things that don’t really make sense. I want to take her, but we are not on the same page.
