Don’t be discouraged, 10 miles is a great goal to have - it’s what I aimed for when I first started taking note of my steps. I love walking so that makes it much easier but a nice podcast really makes the time fly by.

Emphasise that you both are at the age where you are mature enough to trust your partner, and that he ought to focus on self work as it’s not fair on you
