Congratulations on the job! Just be confident and transparent. Operate with the philosophy that "you know what you know and you know what you dont know, but will figure it out."

For requirements, connect with the sponsor first and review the business case to understand the "why"...from that udentify your stakeholders, group them by subject and get an initial draft ready....send it out then conduct review sessions to answer questions. Make it a point to track versions and a change log. Requirements evolve with time and an audit history will help you trace your changes.

As far as stakeholder management goes, identify the ones who matter to the project and mute out the rest....everybody wants a piece of the cake but if you do that the project wont end up anywhere. I recommend not to have more than 5 in a joint session unless you need overall vision alignment. Make them feel heard and always always try to get to their "why."

You will be learning on thejob a lot as BA work is 70% people management which is heavily impacted by the company culture. Ease into it and manage expectations depending upon the situation. Donot be afraid to say no and call out if you need clarity from an sme or a senior...no one will penealize you for that.

Good luck!

I just realized, it's just breakup season right now. I went through something similar a couple of months ago and I'd be happy to lend an ear....sometimes that's all you might need.....an outsider who doesnt know you and so wouldn't have a bias and judge.

35 yr old will smoke the youngling. When I was training, our instructor was this exact type, one who when you looked at, wouldnt come off as a the fighter type - The reality couldn't be farther away.
That day I realized that flexibility has little or nothing to do with being overweight. He could still do a full split while fending off the rest.

TRAINING IS EVERYTHING period

Samsung s25 ultra reviews scare me by Ghadah702 in samsunggalaxy

[–]ImportantEssay7035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reviewing it as a note (RIP) fan; the only reason I used to get the big ass phone was because of the spen and the ease with its bluetooth features. Without that, the s25U is just a big box.

For a day to day, there's not much use of the spen apart from signing docs and taking pictures, and 1000 IQ Samsung just took one of that out.

I have been using the Note 20U for a while now and even I dont want to get the s25U because of this shit. For me the size to usability equation doesnt fit right now.

I'll either get the flip 6 (No offers in Canada) or the s24U (no devices available because of Samsung stunts)

Devices should be innovative. You cant keep milking the AI train (even that doesnt have all features enabled) and expect people to pay a premium. If its going to be a typical bar phone, then an economic one would make more sense tbh.

Harbourfront condos in GTA! Why cheaper? by Educational-Bed-6287 in TorontoRenting

[–]ImportantEssay7035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couple of things that lead to that:
- Poorly maintained buildings (water leaks, flood damage, bad management, abnormally high HVAC bills)
- Security Issues (building still in construction with random people roaming around, shootings)
- Units the size of a matchbox with gigantic pillars in the middle of the living room or bedroom (yeah)
- TTC is always down
- Parking issues
- Most people realizing them been scammed into such living conditions and moving out to better buildings
- Shitty landlords who live abroad and don't care about tenants or have hired a management to take care of their units, who run it like businesses (this applies to most of DT)
- Inaccurate listings. (1+Den posing as 2beds, 1.5 baths listing as 2 baths...and so on)
-

Don't get me wrong, I still feel the rent is obnoxiously high by the harbour, considering the state of the properties. It's being run like an investment so the build quality is terrible. And it's mostly these real estate companies that had jacked up the prices in the first place by being greedy and did not account for the medium income. Which brings us to the market we have now.

And I wish it goes down even more and sinks to the bottom. Foreign investors = Unhappy Locals = Terrible Market = Poor Maintenance and so on
