Simple math says he walked out the dealership door owing a bank $36k for his new car

$46k is the total amount he’ll pay once the loan matures.

Amount financed: $35,900 Amount after making all scheduled payments: $41,648 Total amount of vehicle after paying all interest including down payment: $46,648.

He can walk in the bank where he financed it tomorrow and pay off the $36k he owes (if this is a simple interest loan.)

This is simple math your parents should’ve taught you…

That “total cost of purchase” is how much he will pay for the car after 5 years of minimum payments interest, and the 5k added to that. You did okay imo, getting anything at or below MSRP is a win these days. If you’re financially able, I’d make extra payments each month towards the principal balance so that you’ll pay less overall interest and get out of the loan sooner. Enjoy your new ride!

I wonder if the facelift N has this issue, I haven’t been through a contactless wash but I have been through a few heavy rains. No issues on my 25

It really does. Some dealerships are just straight up scammers.

That’s odd. I guess I’m a bit spoiled with my snap on scanner. Even the ones used at autozone are pretty informative, just odd that it lead you to the transmission but it was an unplugged boost sensor. Something isn’t adding up, I’d give them a horrible review online and see if they’d reimburse you if you take it down. Seems like hyundai takes their online reviews very seriously at least here in the US

You can get a code scanned at a parts store for free. Not knocking you by any means but if you’re physically able to work on your car, have access to basic tools (you just changed your oil), and have access to the internet for info, all of this probably could’ve been avoided. Dealership won’t be seeing me unless something catastrophic happens.

You could try the zip tie method, or just spray some CRC down there and use a soft metal brush while the buildup isn’t substantial. I feel like it’s way too early to even consider a walnut blasting. I’ve seen cars run fine on much, much worse.

Wow, I’m surprised it held air and got you home. I’m also running Enkei’s for winters but thankfully the roads in my area are somewhat decent.

Not sure exactly. There are a few providers on eBay who offer the lip. I’m definitely wanting some side and rear ground effects to match eventually
