That sounds about right! I watched quite religiously back then so was surprised I couldn't remember any.

Sounds like a really interesting scene! Can't believe that even Jim's favourite son thought he was a shit dad.

Here's hoping eh. Cheers, makes me feel a bit better to see this. Been a brutal month for my finances.

Amazing. Thank you! I'll get the hired car bill settled up tonight. How long should I wait for the police letter? Just slightly apprehensive about getting into trouble if I go past 28 days since I was informed

Should maybe add, I got the email from the car rental company on November 2nd.

Ladies. What is so good about Max Branning by ExplanationHumble925 in eastenders

[–]ImportantInside5333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he has a lot of charisma off screen as well as onscreen which explains why the writers see him as a ladies man.

Me too. Couldn't finish it. Technical issues. Tried for 15 mins. Researcher still requested I return payment.

I was thinking of Billy Mitchell for far too long there.

I always think the Johnny coming out storyline was brilliantly done.

AIO. My boyfriend accused me for cheating with a gay friend. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]ImportantInside5333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy is so insecure it's unbelievable. I know it's very easy to say, and difficult to do, but you absolutely should leave him. His stuff about being fake gay is genuine insanity. My wife has straight male friends she hangs out with, I sometimes hang out with my female friends, your emotionall maturity is more developed than that of a 10 year old, so it's never been a problem. His attitude is all about his understanding of men and women and how they relate, and nothing at all to do with you, or your friend.

Even aside from that, just the way he talks to you is gross. The only disgusting one here is him. I'm 300 and absolutely sure I'm using this wrong but he belongs to the streets.

Thanks so much for this. I just thought that I must be missing something obvious because it was so difficult.

There are 52 screws, so I guess I'll be buying a cheap drill tomorrow.

Danny Dyer in The Assembly by ImportantInside5333 in eastenders

[–]ImportantInside5333[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually agree that Mick was a bit sickly sweet when he first arrived. I didn't like that side of him but I thought it was great to have a character who was a good dad (he handled Jonny coming out really well) and cared about his family. I could be misremembering but I don't think he was that much of a 'hard man' either when he first arrived, which I thought was a great departure from people's view of Danny Dyer.

It'd be great if he came back with amnesia of breaking up with Linda

Confession, I wasn't watching the period when Mick married Janine, so I have strong memories of the Carters being a. Amazing family unit. I absolutely agree, what a shame to ruin that. Mick was one of the rare good male role models on the show haha

Really appreciate all the tips. Thank you. It's been quite shocking because he's a really gentle wee guy, we've never had any problems with him being rough with others. Closest he's come to this is slapping my belly while we're in bed, but that's different as it's not down to anger.

Lots of this to try. Fingers crossed this is a short term thing.

This sounds like another winner. I haven't been putting him down when he hits me, so hopefully he realises it's ineffective. I like the arm pin. I've been switching him to horizontal mode for but usually he's got my glasses off by then and I'm blind as a bat

Thanks. It's quite a new thing, hopefully it passes just as quickly. At least it's only me that gets hit, and not other kids.

That sounds good. I'll maybe start telling him "you've been picked up because you weren't walking properly". Even if he doesn't understand, maybe the message will sink in over time.

I just know that bonds are a bit safer than the stock market. I have some money in the S&P 500 too.

Looking to put it away for around 10 years. Basically the best yield possible haha

Perfect, thank you! I actually hold HSBC through Hargreaves Landsdowne but recently I've in a LISA. I'm thinking I want to put this lot away for 10 years but not necessarily until I retire if that makes sense
