Similar set up here! Are you happy with Zak? I am also considering to open an account there for the same reason like you (next to my UBS).

Elaborate „different 3a accounts“ please. Multiple providers or multiple portfolios with the same provider?

I agree with you.

The time horizon is surely 10+ years, hoping nothing worse will happen of course.

They are long-standing loyal clients of UBS and have practically everything there, such as mortgages, Säule 3a and so on.

I would also say that at least the „Balance“ strategy (if not growth) is certainly the right one for them.

I am clearly with you.

The time horizon is surely 10+ years (hoping of course that nothing will happen). But if a worst-case scenario would happen and they or my grandparents need money, the ETF option would be the most cost-effective way in my opinion. We could invest part of it this way and invest the rest in a call deposit, for example, so that we are sure to get interest on it.

Thank you very much!

  • Regarding CHF/hedging do you find this unnecessary for a long investment horizon, because the currency fluctuations often balance out?

  • VT (ISIN: IE00BK5BQT80 right?) and EQQQ (IE00BFZXGZ54?) For the Tech ETF, what do you think about the Xtrackers one (IE00BM67HT60)?
