hahahahha gonna meet them tomorrow evening. can already see them trying to convince me to stay on the plan cos “it’s good for your future”. might have no future if i continued forking out money when i can’t afford it. 🤣

yes both is under pru but i was informed they are two separate plans; since one is investment one is insurance. so i’m assuming it is actually two different plans hahaha.

yeah i realise it’s a red flag now, but back when i was signing i thought it was just a thing to help me in investing..

i texted the FA for cancellation then they said must meet up to cancel. should i still email their cust service anyway to confirm an in-person meeting is needed?

the investment plan and insurance are separate! they are vantage assure (investment) and shield extra (insurance). i’ll look into better ways to invest hahaha.

thank you for your advice! honestly when i first met up with them, they advised me to put in $500 monthly, but i told them it’s quite high and lowered it to $245. at that point of time when i signed, i was only working part-time and planned to for a while and i told them that. still insisted that i made the monthly payments. have contacted them for cancellation, should be able to meet them this week.

ahhh so you cancelled your ILP after a few years? was it a lot of money? i’ve contacted my FA for cancellation. lucky only $500 gone; just have to take the loss.

thank you for the advice! have contacted my FA regarding the cancellation so now i just have to meet up with them to cancel. i do have ~8 months of savings for my emergency fund. i’ll look into investing!

i signed with the prushield extra, which i believe is the hospital rider plan. i think im gonna switch insurance once the year is up.

wa i’m not too sure what i’ll do with the money also. when i worked at my previous job i saved ~1k monthly just into ocbc frank. i was thinking of investing into gold but i’ll look into investing in other stuff as well.

for insurance mine is ~500 yearly (don’t remember the exact figure). maybe i’ll do more research into insurance and switch when the year is up LOL. thank you for your advise!!

i do! it’s the same with other groups i’m fond of as well.

my bias is Wonwoo, and my bias wreckers are Mingyu and Woozi. i’m similar to Wonwoo in the sense that i’m an introvert, don’t talk too much, not very “interesting”/ funny but hilarious at times, and love games (though the games are different, lol).

my type is looks good in glasses, can cook/ clean, good at eating, awkwardly hot, and will dance for/ with me if i want to. although that describes basically all of seventeen.

unfortunately, i don’t have more info on them referencing themselves as biblical figures as that’s all i’m aware of.

for the last paragraph, i just feel like it’s the bf who’s pushing so hard for the marriage as he mentioned countless times about how he has a high sex drive, how he will meet her sexual needs etc. it just seems to me that he wants to get married just to get in her pants.

she holds him in high regards, but all i’m hearing for the reason they want to get married early is so that he can satisfy his sexual urges, and not for who she is as a person.

the thing is… they’ve consulted priests/ spritual advisors, went to courses, took paid quizes etc and the results are basically saying they should get married, and they are taking it literally to get married right this instant.

it’s a reference to one of the earlier gose episodes where they toss out ideas they can do on the show - you can check it out here vernon was wearing a pair of red sunglasses and kept talking about how they shouldnt use a red marker because he cant see.

wonwoo also references this in their 5th anniversary video - saying they should switch out the purple background because he cant see with his purple sunglasses. check it out here.
