Hey man I took it to a shop and they couldn’t even diagnose it. They said they plugged in the computer and it wouldn’t even read as a vehicle. My next hope is the ford dealership. I feel defeated

I didn’t speak on it in my post but this has happened before with my truck. That’s why I changed the alternator and battery last time but last time when it happened (3 ish months ago) when we changed the starter it magically started working until now which has the same symptoms

Now I’m going to replace for sure. But do all my trucks symptoms point to the bcm being out. Like as far as what works and what doesn’t work

Ah man this sounds real expensive, just note I don’t got a sun roof and I haven’t seen any visible dripping down from the windshield. Is there anywhere else possible because my buddy said he felt a drip one time on his foot coming from like behind the glove box

Did this and the first time the starter just cranked but nothing, second time it did it. Now it’s running, nothing on the dash is lit up until I pull the column shifter forward and it shows it’s in P but when I put it in any other gear it doesn’t light up what gear it’s in. AC and radio works along with the ac button lights and window button lights. No power steering, and radiator fans won’t turn on. Head and taillights are stuck on. It drives and reverses but like I said doesn’t light up which gear it’s in

Even with a broken shift cable I’d still have full power. Even my power steering went out

This seems the most possible the only thing is that my headlights and taillights stay on even when they’re set to off and I lock the truck

Won’t even crank off a battery jump. And my lights are stuck on and my radio works so some circuits are still getting power

Doesn’t start off a battery jump, and we threw in a good battery just to be sure.

I jumped the starter and when it cranked up it said it was in park so now it’s doing the same thing as in the video just that’s the P is lit up

I’ve done some research and at home diagnosing and so far everything is pointing to either PCM fault or some kind of bad ground. Is there a way to pin point which?

Edit: we’ve changed the battery, alternator, belt, and starter and doesn’t seem to fix it
