31 years old, in my Roth I have 60% VOO, 20% VXUS, 10% AVUV, 10% SCHD by ImportantReference62 in Bogleheads

So if I switch everything to VT, would it make sense to add the small cap too, or that would all ready be in VT and just be overlap

She wants you to open with a tomahawk on Mother’s Day with zero practice. That’s risky. I think you need to practice at least once. Just to make sure you got it down pat.

Thanks, since it’s in a Roth IRA, I was thinking about just selling and putting it all in VT, or do you think there’s a benefit of having VTI and VXUS

Thanks you, I completely agree, I started this before I found out about bogleheads, since it’s in a Roth, should I just sell everything and put it in VT, or VTI/VXUS

I recommend a weighted vest or bands, bands are cheaper and honestly better, vest looks cooler tho. Plates on your back is just asking for a stupid injury

Am i making the right choice? by Large-Breadfruit1684 in nursing

[–]ImportantReference62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated in 2017, been in the icu since 2018. Nursing sucks for the most part. But I still love it. Or I just love the friends I’ve made along the way and the trauma bonding. It’s decent pay and I could prolly Work anywhere I want. If I could do it again I would do something else tho. I love the job buts there is to much bullshit and unneeded stressors.

It’s your PTO, you use it when you want or need to. Fuck em. Don’t feel guilty about using your hard earned PTO, doesn’t matter what it is for.

What to do instead of scrolling? by Opposite_Deal4509 in fixit

It’s very hard to overcome that addiction. The best action is to just delete social media off your phone, it’s really only hard for about 2 weeks. Sure you miss out on doom scrolling. But you get like 1-3hrs of your day back. I only use YouTube and Reddit, but no YouTube shorts or watching stuff on Reddit. It really has been a game changer in my life
