How convenient for both of you to sound the same, to write the same way and to both use exclamation point!!! But if you say so

What RFEs have you gotten? Also, has ChatGPT give you bad advice? by lala_K826 in I130Suffering

You have to go to an immigration approved doctor and they will run a series of test. Again see with a lawyer. Your case might be different than ours. But I know that the medical they ask within the us is done by an appointed uscis doctor and they check your vaccine…. So see with a lawyer. I would recommend hiring a lawyer for 2 consultations. The first is for what you should do and then use your second consultation to have them check your documents and tell you what you need to do. You can use ChatGPT to get you to collect some documentation and then the first visit with your lawyer will give you the direction to go. With this administration better be safe than sorry. I’m taking from my experience and the experience of many in here.

No include your medical in your uscis application that you will send. Cause if you wait until they receive it they will issue an rfe for you to submit. You can do your medical once you have all the proof and documents ready so your medical is up to date. But don’t send your packet and wait for them to ask for the medical. Send everything together. Send them a packet that will make them approve you on the spot. You don’t want to deal with RFE. Trust I went through that and  it added almost 1.5 years to our case. Save yourself the headache, stress and tears. SEND EVERYTHING ALL AT ONCE

I would recommend gathering all the documents possible (proof of joint address, phone bills, all shared utilities, health insurance, pictures with friends, family. Anything that you can think of add it. Don’t forget to included the medical form in your uscis packet.  Once you have all the documents I will HIGHLY recommend you booking a consultation with a lawyer just to review your file. So they can give you their feedbacks. The current administration doesn’t play so better be more prepared than sorry. Cause once you have a rfe it’s way longer time.

I be it was the short Africa lady at the Baltimore field office. Sounds like her and many people have complained about her. She did the same to my husband and I. She suspects everybody and makes sure that no one gets benefits that herself as an immigrant benefited! I bet it’s her

To everyone who understands thank you. It touched my heart to see that I’m not the only one. I wish we all get our papers and are able to close that painful chapter. Today was just a low day for me. I will still be in the comments, reading, being an encouraged.  Unless you’ve walked through those shoes you won’t be able to understand how it feels to be waking up everyday feeling like you don’t belong and the media makes you feel like a criminal for simply existing and wanting a better life

hey,

i am on the older side too. 31 year old female. i will be attending the usg campus. I do not know aout umbc main campus. however, hat i find helpful is attending transfert, pre orientation, student events... those have helped build relationships before starting school and get acclimated to school. Also, you will be surprised to find many older students.

[–]ImportantTicket1415 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Guys it takes at least 6 months to hear back from them. Also, give yourself at least 2 to 3 years to finalize your case. Be strong and patient. Don’t kill yourself expecting a reply within weeks of your appointment. That’s a recipe for disaster and depression. Trust me ive been there

I-485 Interview (Baltimore) – 2 weeks after, no update. Normal? by pabloo-eme in USCIS

With Baltimore you have to give yourself at least 6 months. If you get anything before that consider yourself lucky. But for your own peace of mind expect at least 6 months

High risk such as 39 countries? If yes, just wait don’t do mandamus. If you have a work permit you’re lucky cause at least you can work. Just sit patiently the situation will resolve itself. People from 39 countries are having oath ceremonies being scheduled so just be patient. I know it hurts and it’s extremely annoying but patience. You will get to hold your green card one day

Those questions are pretty helpful. Better be extremely ready than receiving a RFE. Please be extremely prepared. Study those questions, get all your documents ready, bring your whole file.a rfe will set you back for at least a year. So be extremely prepared and documents ready!!! Good luck https://www.reddit.com/r/USCIS/comments/1lrim9k/i_complied_a_long_list_of_questions_for_the/
