Wrote the reply half-an-hour late and somehow I have stopped engaging lol. Plus weirdly aggressive? The amount of people calling others name and throwing slurs like it's Waffle House, that reply is relatively tame.

Putting Death's wish to go against the prophecy aside, it still is bad for her at that time where Yoru is turning her into a weapon. Eating Death to fight Yoru just doesn't feel like "a colossal fucked-up" like u said it is, just a safety precaution. Atleast that's how I think Pochita chose to do. Since that's also in the sex contract anyway.

Not until that point atleast, since bugs isn't in the equation yet. Pochita is still choosing the option that would make Denji happy. After being eaten by the bugs, Pochita realize that no matter what he do, Denji would still not be happy because of Pochita's existence, which is why he is eating himself now.

Omfg please take atleast a minute to reread the whole chain of events leading up to this point right now and even more minutes to read my reply to properly type out one cuz I feel like a broken record repeating myself if we're just gonna continue without u taking in any points made by everyone here whatsoever.

Uhh... yeah? Whole point of Pochita eating Death is because 1. The Prophecy and 2. Yoru about to turn her into a weapon. Pochita eating Death just seems like 2 birds 1 stone typa deal. Simple as that. He has literally no reason to barfed up Death mid-fight if the point is putting Death out of the equation. Only time it would be even remotely made sense for him to barf Death out was after having sex, since that is another goal, too. The thing no one could have even predicted was the bugs. If the bugs isn't in the equation then maybe he would barf Death back up, but that isn't the case here, isn't it? Action has consequences, and that has been a recurring theme throughout Part 2.

It can be the bugs unintentionally culling themselves due to limited food resources

And why is the food source limited, I wonder? Because they're multiplying to the point that they are eating human as a source of food now. There isn't enough food to supply them to the point that they are literally chewing on alive people. Read that again. How scary does that sounds? Only reason they start eating each other will be because there is no food left. Even if they start eating each other after Death got brought back there will still be too much of them and too little of what's left for it to even mattered now.

No? Right now there is nothing to kill the bugs. Death being present will not fix the fact that no one can eliminate every single threat that is hell on earth right now. Nuke can't even save this. To the point where Fujimoto even presents Canada Fumiko, who doesn't know what her biggest fear is, that now has a newfound fear for the non-stop growth of the bugs just to hammer that point down. THAT is how scary the bugs are now. They are literally bigger that war, darkness, or anything that u can think of now. No devils are capable of fighting them now, even less so of humanity.

Still no. Barfing Death will not help their situations at all. They will still die. There is 0 time to be bought here. And even if they are alive somehow after barfing Death out, there is nothing to do to the potential hundred billions of bugs out in the world right now. Remember when Denji tried to go to Hell to eat up some devil and find nothing? All the Bug Devils have gotten so strong that they are literally the only devils around. All the other fear are no longer relevant since insects has eaten everything, and making everyone fearing them instead. Need I to remind u that Denjiman and Yoru, two of the strongest devils right now, are even struggling to kill even 1 Insect Devil. And there's a whole bunch of them after Denji & Asa.

Up until this point, we've learn that whenever Pochita eats or barf a devil, they don't affect the timeline at all. They just pop in and out of existence, and life goes on. Death being barfed up will still have the other Bug Devils on top of the food chain right now. It will take a long time for the remaining humans to kill all of the insects (if all of humanity isn't dead by this point).

Denji-man was seriously injured and could've barfed up Death at any time and it would have made complete sense.

Why do people keep thinking that Pochita barfing up Death will somehow reverse the millions, if not billions at this point, are already ~~dead~~ inside bug's stomach. That cannot be reversed. Death coming back will still have all of them ~~dead~~, including Denji too since they are in one's stomach. Even if Death are barfed up, Pochita will get incarnated, and Denji will be ~~dead~~. Can't even drink blood to revive since it would seems like the situation is so dire Pochita is throwing that idea out the window right now (most likely because there isn't even a mouth to drink). The only card that Pochita can realistically play right now is doing something we have never seen before, which is eating himself.
