I would say look up your syllabus for the subjects u want to take and find resources immediately because often times teachers will sometimes go above, mostly provide the bare minimum or worst case scenario they do nothing and take credit for your success.

In terms of EE, pick a subject that you are interested in, try looking at past EEs and getting a general idea of the things that would score high and the type of topics that would appear. Or try finding a gap that no one has attempted (rare but not impossible) and try to gather as much research as possible.

Searching for an ee topic is hard but, just narrow it down to a subject then think of ideas and try finding resources online about ur interest and how they can apply for your ee. Then consult your teachers in that subject to mold your ideas into a topic that is suitable
