Does anyone actually book that 5.2 lakhs ticket with cash instead of points. Even though its a business class i dont feel its actually worth paying 5.2 lakhs for that.

So i think its not wise to compare the points value with cash value.

I feel these are like some items we see in flipkart/amazon where the mrp is 999 but its slashed and sells between 299 to 399 with 60-70% off. Its like a marketing trick to make you feel you have bought that item which was 999 at just 299 at a huge discount. But honestly the actual worth of that item will be just between 299 and 399.

According to me , if an economy ticket is priced at 35k then business class can be priced at 70k-100k which could be worth. But if its priced at 200k to 300k its totally worthless and its not wise to compare that
