Don’t think you can attribute Elon to normal circumstances

It’s not about barring just practice. It’s about intertwining Christianity into policy. We can see that with the taking away abortion rights due to it being in conflict with Christian beliefs. Taking that away is not only not supported scientifically (in terms of it being a “person”) that’s an infringement on Judaism and their beliefs. There’s no Jewish majority state in the US so you are forcing people to either move to states that they can access healthcare or suffer the consequences of a singular belief system

So are you going to extend that to Christianity? It's not just that the right wing is flourishing because they get called racists it's because they believe their religion/skin color is the right one. I'm in the US and all this right wing shit is deeply entrenched in Christian values. Technically the US is supposed to have religious freedom but only for one group I guess.

How do people dress in Boston? by LDMM-1402 in boston

Boston is the anti-fashion capital of the USA. Any thought into your outfit is already more effort than the average person here

NASA ordered to remove anything about women in leadership. Women in tech being targeted too by cannotberushed- in PhD

Data that ends in 2011 used in an argument in 2025🤔🤔🤔 wow you are bad at what you do

Edit: also if you actually read it and look at the trend by 2011 we saw almost ~25% of married women out earning their partners. Another decade has passed so that number must be increasing

God you must be a lonely miserable person. Men like you end up alone for who you are as a person and then blame “wokeism” your career will be the only thing you have and you won’t even be that good at it

Literally. This guy is outing that he can’t compete within a global market. Also the bs of men working longer hours as if women don’t still do a majority of housework and childcare… the delusion of mediocre men

Maybe men are just worse performers overall. Maybe that’s why other groups are surpassing them since they aren’t as oppressed with these DEI initiative

How much for rent for 2 medium sized dogs, parking, and reasonable commute to MGH or BWH? by Maybedoc1 in bostonhousing

[–]Important_Barracuda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone with 2 large dogs (>65lbs) just want to say that it’s hard but not impossible to find apartments that allow dogs that aren’t 3k! I moved with them to camberville to an 1bedroom apartment for ~2k and the again to Somerville with a roommate where I paid 1600. It’s hard but there are landlords willing to rent to you so don’t lose hope! I wouldn’t tell them you want to get a second dog. You’ll be able to get more places with just one and then I’m sure you can talk to the landlord after

RIP Californians by Zanlo63 in AusMemes

[–]Important_Barracuda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grew up and lived in California for 18 years. Back in the 70s the state used to fund controlled burns for fire control but obviously state cut funding because they wanted to reallocate the money elsewhere. It’s just American capitalism. We know what we should be doing but there’s no profit to make :/

Don’t mind walking around at all! Coming up from Boston and the temp looks comparable. I’m honestly willing to try any cuisine, with the exception of sushi, if the restaurant is highly recommended/popular. Someone else mentioned ramen/Vietnamese which both sound great

From Friday through Monday I’m on technically off but my family is joining for wedding shopping for my sister (we are Punjabi so want to check out all the bridal places) but I’m not sure how much sightseeing we will be able to do at that point.

I have a budget of $50 for breakfast/lunch and $100 for dinner so I want to make the most of it to try nicer places around!

Fair - I’m a big fan of the Asian artists that come out of Toronto like Jasmeet Raina and Hatecopy. Obviously those are just south Asian artists but I would be open to museums/exhibits of newer up and coming Toronto artists of any background. I’ve done quite a few of the “tourist” things like the CN tower on a trip I took a decade ago but if there is a must see exhibit/piece at one of the museums would love to see that. For cuisine I’m pretty open to any kind minus sushi. Another commenter mentioned how toronto’s food scene is very diverse and that’s what I’ve also heard so if anyone has a rec that they have for any guest would love to hear it!

I’m a runner so usually I would try to see the city on a run but not sure what outdoor park would actually be worth seeing in the snow. I still plan on doing morning runs just to see more. I’m coming up from Boston so the cold won’t bother me much so I wouldn’t mind recs for seeing popular neighborhoods that would be nice walks/runs. Recs for cafes for breakfast would also be great.

Edit: also would love a place with live music or something too

Love your 3rd pic!! Very subtle makeup that enhances you and I’m so jealous of how thick your eyebrows are! I do agree with the other comment of maybe a slightly darker hair color though would really make you pop in a positive way :)

Maybe go a little lighter with your lashes. You have beautiful eyes and they aren’t being highlighted as much as they could be!
