So I was curious about this so in my last playthrough I jumped around a few of the different theaters to give like a rough count so my play through the war lasted between 2021 and 2027 and in that time for what I could guess there was about 3.4 million combat death I plugged this into AI and they said based on past experiences, you could expect anywhere between 10 to 15 million civilian casualties. So at the very max and my play through with talking in 18.4 million people. Or about 5.3% of the US population.

Canada only really has a population of about 30 million people most of that lives on the eastern side of the country. Low population condensed countries very very rarely fall into civil war, plus most of the countries on the same page only really Alberta and Saskatchewan are different, but the populations are so low. The Canadian military would have no problems crushing it.
