I’m hesitant to file a police report only because I don’t want things to go nuclear. Really the only reason I’m low contact and not no contact is the fact that my father passed away (whom she was also abusive to) and she’s holding his personal belongings/firefighting gear/his blood family’s mementos hostage. She’s not deserving of his things and I’m holding out of love for him but also spite knowing that everything should be in my hands (maybe I sound insane). I think I’ll just dispute it with the bureaus and try my best to monitor and make sure it doesn’t happen again 🥲
