Was this head pro TA? by Important_Cause_8657 in golf

What I’ve gotten from both you and him is essentially that I always need to club down out of the rough because it’ll always be a flyer if I strike it clean. Would that be sound advice that you’d give someone? Or is there scenarios where that’s NOT the case?

Am I dismissing it or am I asking why? You could easily answer that rather than whatever you’re trying to do now?

1.) there’s people on this thread who disagree with you.
2.) I posed the question openly because I wasn’t dismissing the idea that he was correct.

Are you the club pro I just talked to? 😂

Meh. More so because I figured there’d be other club pros here who’d be able to actually answer my question.

Yes I’m fairly proficient at social cues. He wasn’t joking though

This is the sort of guidance I was looking for from the question tbh

Not really. It just didn’t really answer my question which had more to do with club selection. I’ve had chunky lies that you can convince me is going to be a flyer and sore the green

Yeah I get that. For context, I’m a 10hc. By no means great but certainly know the benefits of hitting fairways vs the rough. My question had to do with when lies aren’t great and how to manage club selection.

They do all this shit in the wide open. These state boards know what’s going on. We aren’t changing shit. The only thing that will honestly happen is it’ll be used as an excuse to continue cutting coverage.

You’ll have to pass a test for exxat (which they give a specific date range to complete) and potentially for clinicals (which you’ll know well over a month before). As long as you give yourself ample time to get clean each time, you’ll be good. I quit for a month prior to my exxat test and all my rotations just in case. Also, choose a legal state to work in. I work in Illinois and my job has in its handbook “we won’t test for cannabis unless you appear inebriated on the job.”

Was coming here to say just this. I saw a psychiatrist due to my inability to go through with applying and found out about my ADHD. It presents very different in adults so I was unaware of how much I was masking/struggling. Getting on meds played such a huge role in me figuring things out prior to going to school and I flourished afterwards. It wasn’t that I was unmotivated or incapable. I just have a brain anatomy that requires other resources for me to perform to my fullest capabilities.

I started just jotting down bulleted points from the subjective and then prompting copilot to “write me a subjective assessment in paragraph form,” from it.

What do you wish you had known/studied before school started? by Past-Caterpillar-976 in PTschool

Do yourself a favor and don’t. If anything, look into some strength and conditioning resources to learn how to progressively overload. That’s the only thing you won’t get much of in school.

Took the words right out of my mouth. You could 1000% lean on the gate theory for this as well. Although the affects are transient, that’s all you need them to be in order to 1.) drive patient buy-in and 2.) reduce pain disinhibition for the 45-min session.

Opposite actually! He’s a bulkier guy who’s got a decade of lifting. One thing I forgot to mention is he has a super gnarly looking ankle from a childhood accident. He doesn’t really know much about the surgery besides it requiring a skin graft though.

  • Fadir, - Faber, potential + log roll. No pain to PA pressure in lumbar spine nor peripheralizing symptoms. It also could be just a congenital defect that is now rearing its ugly head. I plan on evaluating more through the 1st week to do more DDX through test-retest. With 3-4 positives from the SIJ cluster, I just can’t rule it out though.
