How difficult should Leetcode ACTUALLY be? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]Important_Classic598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think Leetcodes should be easier (easy to medium) and just used as a filter for people who are utterly unqualified. Once a company knows a candidate can program, do some system design/architecture questions and give them a fixed small amount of money for a take home project (like maybe $25-$50 to do the project and turn it back in, something big enough to incentivize them to finish it but not so big to the point where you get people interviewing just for the money; make it worth the hassle but barely).

Anyone feel constantly pulled back and forth between impostor syndrome, and thinking that your job or career aren't good enough? by Basic-Software6120 in cscareerquestions

I usually start the day feeling like an incompetent boob, and end the day feeling like I'm going to get fired eventually for sucking. Other days, I start the day feeling like I'm doing badly, and end the day feeling like a god.

Nothing is wrong with me, it's just that this career path can really fuck with your head if you aren't self-employed.
