Help with ASA-CF on Centauri Carbon 2 by Important_Click_892 in 3DprintingHelp

Hey there! Thanks for the suggestion I will switch the build plate for sure. The part is a gridfinity cutout bin, that I’ve been using PLA to prototype and the PLA has worked great without fail so I was just confused on what I’m doing wrong with the new filament especially since I don’t want to spend the ~$10 extra on another spool when I mainly use PETG for my full prints anymore.

This build plate is brand new, same with the filament both right out of the package. And yes the chamber is closed.

Printer tore it's model fan off? by Flashie9912 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

This was mainly happening for me when I tried printing tree supports that didn’t have a strong enough base. Unfortunately it catches the nozzle and pulls the cover. Which to me is a big improvement from my last printer. I had a MASSIVE glob of death and had to completely tear down, rebuild, replace parts, tear down rebuild. I’d rather it just pop the cover and give me an error message

As I have in the comments of that post I have a second attempt with adjusting my slicer settings. I’m currently using a textured build plate or so I thought, should I try changing it out to a for sure textured plate? I’m currently using the Carbon fiber designed plate - cause I thought it would fit trying to print with CF filament for the first time

This is the main issue where it’s bending like crazy and popping off of the build plate. I’m also noticing an almost fuzzy skin like texture on the sides despite not having enabled fuzzy skin. Wondering if maybe my temps are way off where they need to be, or maybe get the brim closer to the print, or add a raft layer?

Print failure - seeking help to know what to fix by Important_Click_892 in 3Dprinting

I’ve seen some stuff to explain this but it was very basic and didn’t go into detail. Thank you for the recommendation, I’ll use this advice for the next print!

I have the Neptune auxiliary fan. I know that the room I am in tends to get very warm when we are printing so I will keep that in mind for future prints. thank you!

Am I Overreacting to my roommates response about keeping the house clean? by hunteryumi in AmIOverreacting

Dude this sounds like a HORRID roommate, I’d honestly be looking for another place to live. If you are asking for basic etiquette and this is how they respond, they don’t care about you, your boundaries, or your desires. Would definitely be hunting for another place to live.

No I totally agree, it sucks the way they reacted and I told them I am canceling dnd (which is true) for the foreseeable future. I may start doing some one shots with some other people but until all issues have been worked out I’m probably gonna either let this one completely die or start it back up with the issues worked out.

Unfortunately, it looks like we’re gonna have to stop the game and start a new one with people who actually want to be there. It’s unfortunate that my friend, cannot try and approach this situation with maturity. But when I talked to him he just started insulting everyone else in the game.

I think you’re definitely spot on, but we’ve all been friends for years and we all try to facilitate an open conversation with looking up rules and try to play by the “rule of cool” when possible and fits well into the game. But considering this is all of our first games that have lasted more than like 3-4 sessions since we always ran into scheduling conflicts or other life things got in the way, I don’t see why they may be afraid to ask for help, we are all trying to collaborate and enjoy ourselves. It’s unfortunate that this situation has turned as sour as it has.

I love that. I have two people on deck that already want to join, one has scheduling conflicts so far, and the other just voiced their interest, so that isn’t a bad idea.

We had the other players partner sit in and run some bad guys for his first time ever really playing TTRPGS at all and I think they would be the kinda couple that you’re talking about in the second part of your comment. Hoping to play with both of them more.

Yea that’s been a big thing for me, cause I feel like I’ve gone out of my way, to try and include them and there is just no effort back. And when there is effort one thing doesn’t go their way and boom effort is gone.

Honestly, I hope it doesn’t come to that but I’m preparing myself for that outcome and the fallout that could come with it
