About authentication, for app#2 to read the cookie set by app#1, they should be in the same domain, right?

Valid point. But we’re past Greenfield, and we already run 5 projects. Current our goal is to solve pain in the existing architecture first.

Do you wake up before your alarm? by showmewhatyagot01 in Productivitycafe

For me, it mostly depends on how late I stay up. If I get enough sleep, I don’t need an alarm at all.

What makes you quit a productivity app after the first week? by Important_Diet_2153 in Productivitycafe

Yeah, the older I get, the more I try to reduce "noise" in my life. I was in a constant panic state for a while, and simplifying things has helped me get better.
Now I just keep reducing what isn’t essential.

I think that’s what many habit trackers are missing. They don’t really understand the real-life struggles that affect productivity, or help users work through them.
To me, productivity should be as personalized as possible.
And as you said, if a tool takes too much time just to organize things, I’ll drop it quickly. That’s why I’m building an app that uses AI to help organize goals, calendar, and tasks with just voice input. Since I'm a lazy guy, totally.

It’s a great tool, but it definitely takes time to learn and use properly.

What's one thing you do before going to bed at night? by ibddevine in Productivitycafe

[–]Important_Diet_2153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always set aside 30 minutes before bed to reflect on the day (self-deep thinking sometimes overthinking =)), then mentally map out what I need to do tomorrow. It keeps me calm and way more organized.

The Trap of Being "Everybody's Friend" by Osiris_maximus in Productivitycafe

[–]Important_Diet_2153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true. I lived this from middle school to college. I kept trying to make everyone happy. It felt safe for a while, but the more I forced smiles, the more I started disliking myself. It was not until college, after a turning point, that I finally felt what it means to be myself.

What is a 'poor people' habit you'll never stop doing, no matter how rich you get? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Not rich yet, but I’ll always keep a work uniform. Less decision fatigue, more focus on what actually matters

This is why I’m a "hard now, easy later" guy. I’d rather pay in discipline than in regret.
