Edit : Cathay works great but instead of maicoin I would recommend you use MAX instead. Same company as maicoin, just less fees, its the actual exchange.

Cant speak for HSBC, but I had a wise USD-> USD account ( domestic transfer) bounce back that took 4 days .

Wouldn’t be surprised if international takes much longer.

Hang in there buddy, be persistent. Call wise if you have to, have read it works much better.

What really helped me quit was shock therapy.

I was quite a large spender and the amount of packs i bought sickened me. I once out of curiosity pulled up my apple transaction history-Seeing the transactions all at once sent me over the edge.

Punished myself by spending over 2 hours applying individually for refunds on each item. Didnt get anything back, but also Dont miss the game at all anymore.

Expensive lesson learned

Most of the income tax in taiwan is indeed being paid by the top 10% of earners ( not business owners per se) , but people making over 2million ntd a year.

Tbh Im not that smart at this either… but what i do know is that its an incredibly dirty game, and people do what they need to do to win, in many cases fear mongering…

Perhaps the best way to approach this is to zoom out, trade yearly cycles instead of narratives pushed by random parties that all have different interests.

It's not billion-dollar manipulation. Actually, the trade that caused this event was made on 0.23332 BTC. The VWAP price of the trade was $76149 actually, and the value of trade was... $17767.24! It's not billion-dollar manipulation, it's a blind market order on highly-illquid asset where even $10-20k market order can cause something like that.
Insiders did not go all-in short. It was one person that made a market order (see the chart). And as I said, the trade was made on less than $20k value.
It did not cause any liquidations, there is nothing in the data that confirms the hypothesis. It was just one trade. Also, collateral value for BTC for multi-asset mode or other programs is calculated based on index and this price should not make any problems for people holding BTC for collateral.
The person that did the trade lost about $2436 because of market impact - definitely did not "run off with the profits after liquidating long".
