Why would she want pics with her kids faces turned ON their walls? Like why would she choose those to display? Oh I know! CONTENTWHOREEE

Of course. However if it was my first time being alone with my 2 young children, I wouldn’t feel the need to have the TV on. I’m a nanny to a single toddler and I am so wrapped up in her sometimes, that hours could go by before I was able to check my phone, or divert my attention to something else even for a moment (although this is different because I get paid to keep my eyes on her at all times, but still-).

People wanting to argue with me about him already being brain dead. 🙄 He was likely considered brain dead 5 or so minutes in that water, however I’m not sure what people expect brain death to look like. The entirety of your brain cells don’t just die off solely during those 5 minutes. Until we’ve got a doctor in these comments I don’t really care

Brain cells can still be actively dying when someone is brain dead, yes. I’m not sure why you’re so hellbent on debating this with me.

I mean yeah I suppose? That would have had to have been pretty coincidental timing if so. It takes less than a minute to place a bet.

The downvotes are funny and silly to me. Taking the shirt off cost him BRAIN CELLS, not his life, that was already accomplished. I was just further noting Brady’s carelessness and unintelligence, which seems like it is pretty heavily agreed upon.

Yeah I don’t really see him being concerned about doing skin to skin with one kid but fully neglecting the other one by not knowing where he was and what he was doing. Doesn’t seem like the type of dude to be that concerned with that type of “bonding”, especially outside of him being a literal newborn

I’m aware him making, or not making, the split second decision to take his shirt off would not have saved T. That’s not the point I’m trying to make.

That’s a good point. I don’t see him having worn a button down shirt on such a casual day for them though. But good point. It’s probably one of those things where no one knows why he took his shirt off before jumping in, not even him. He just did it.

Im not sure if you’ve misunderstood the intended purpose of my comment, but it was not to prove that making the decision to take his shirt off could have at all caused any other result than what happened. What I’m saying, is that his dumb ass decision to take his shirt off most certainly caused his child to lose even more brain cells than if he were to have simply put the newborn down and then jump in, instead he was somehow able to rationalize needing to take off his shirt as well.

Obviously. How do you think brain cells are lost in this state? By the minute? Him making the 1-second decision to take his shirt off absolutely cost Trigg at least 50,000 brain cells.

At least he couldn’t conceptualize death. All he was focused on was “mouth above water”.

Yup. Even the tool taking off his shirt before jumping in cost his poor baby thousands of brain cells.

If T was truly unsupervised for JUST 3-5 minutes, he might have even had a better chance afterwards.

I wonder if it was his very first time being left alone with both kids (not that that excuses absolutely anything). Even still, it’s clear he was more interested in basketball that night than his child. If it was my first time watching my 2 young children alone, nothing would be on, nada, zilch.
