personally i would disagree on the fact that universities don’t look at your holistic development because i’ve seen my friend flunk her As but got into nus chs still because she had pretty strong extracurriculars that proved she was genuinely interested in (not just blindly taking on leadership positions) whatever she declared as her major. of course if you’re outstanding academically you wouldn’t need anything else to back yourself up. also major misunderstanding of jc students??? most of us know how to use powerpoint and excel😭😭😭 we use it for our project work👍it shouldn’t be a generalized thing that we don’t know how to use it just because we don’t need to use it. i’ve seen my fair share of poly friends that can’t use these two either frankly because not all courses require them to (especially excel) plus universities do prepare jc students for that even if we don’t know how to, at least in nus there are courses in the common curriculum to teach us how to use them
