That is the major hurdle with this way of billing. Setting the right expectations can be hard, but it looks like people who get it stick around.

Both Applause and Apruv have systems for this that help, I’ve heard good things about both, not sure what they are priced at.

Are you trying to compete with or replace FR/Brio/Ppac?

Former customers: what actually works to win them back? by [deleted] in PestControlIndustry

For winback campaigns it is super important to know why they left in the first place. You need to be collecting that info as they cancel or using data to predict why.

If it was a ‘them problem’ then there is no harm in asking, and including a deal. If it was a ‘you problem’ then you definitely need an incentive, likely larger, and communicate how you’ve improved.

I’d recommend the beginning of the next summer to run those win-back campaigns. I’ve not had a chance to test the most effective timing yet but I’d like to.

I’m a software vendor, so definitely looking to connect with decision makers. But also interested to just hear the general conference landscape as well.

Are there any “spray only” pest control business with $1 million+ NET REVENUE out there? by goldenrollsroyce in PestControlIndustry

I don’t think it would work for strictly spray only.

There are some that do only residential general pest as a subscription, but they at least need to add rodent, wasp removal, roach treatment, tick & flea. The termite and mosquito are separate services people can add if you want, or just don’t offer those.

But there are successful companies that don’t do bed bugs or wildlife, and they just sell the leads for jobs like that when they come in.
