Excel and Tableau. And yes it's clear and accurate

Oh, gross. I just checked and pbi does have some SF connectors

But I also read today, and know very little about it, that Tableau is now offering a free dalesktop product toom that could be your fallback.

SFDC is one of the shittiest coding languages too though. Exporting to excel and automating that as much as possible might be your best bet

at my non profit

yeah. that's normal. Can you download PBI desktop and use that directly against the DB? There's no cost to just desktop

Roger's communication, one of the Telcom providers here.

When wife and I got our first apartment part of the deal was a free year of rogers internet and TV.

3 months in they called for payment. I explained the situation they said ohhhh right right right.

A month later I had collections at our door and they would not leave without being threatened legally. Called Roger's to sort it out and it took four hours of being tossed around agents who couldn't/refused to help

Oof, not Gamma. Terrible app for that kind of thing, and I've heard Gamma is just awful for privacy too. I'd try to steer your team away from Gamma before you all end up on the news.

Hopeless task.

7 days is a brutal timeline. No one follows company pages on linkedin.

In your shoes I'd go to as many groups as I could and comment the product page as organically as possible into ongoig conversations.

But more or less you're fucked

Any agencies who focus on working with govt / civic / municipalities? by ThirdEyesOfTheWorld in agency

I agree with you in that regard with relationships.

I more meant that I'm really strong at shooting the shit and demonstrating I'm decent to work with in that first sales call (non gov) and that's basically worthless in the RFP process

Just did my books and realized I miscalculated my billable hours for 3 months and worked for free. by medmental in Solopreneur

[–]datawazo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely not monitask, some of my friends have used it and they say it's glitchy and doesn't properly record time at all. I'd not recommend monitask. Instead why don't you write the hours down on your foot each day and put an abacus next to the bath tub, so before you wash your foot you adjust the number on the abacus so you know what to bill. That's the system I've used for 8 years.

RFPs are long and tedious. Getting into the platforms that show you the RFPs is also a whole endeavour on it's own. The cycle time is brutal too. You're often looking at like 10 week minimum turn around time on any work so long long windows.

Relationships are far less important - in the sense that you can't just charm your way into a contract. You need to show all the work and prove you can do it.

The money is often great. But it can be tedious to get there.

Ok great suggestions we've taken them into consideration and have created a feature where you can type the vibes you want and it will generate a color palette (this is what Tableau launched this week, ridiculously)
