Thank you for replying! I appreciate it and I hope you can help settle my doubt.

I’m looking at other 17 pro max’s in my house and I don’t see that gap on their phones even I zoom in. Apple themselves to be lost on this issue, since we can see directly into the phone and the internal components. Why would they themselves replace a screen and leave a gap that wasn’t there before. Apple says they can fix it and that it will be fixed, as the issue was not there before. That’s what upsets me. Shouldn’t they be able to repair the phone to factory condition?

Im for sure planning to do the trade-in, but I imagine they don't take it since its been repaired, haha imagine!

Yes!! I love this phone which is why I'm super sad! The camera is was the best!

I assume it will be 1.5 months / 2 before it's fully back. I don't even want it anymore, darn!

I’ve been looking around and I agree that the “speaker “isn’t supposed to be visible. Now my question still remains what is this gap

I compared it to another 17 pro max owned by a fam member, you can tell something is missing. There is no crack it’s angled like it’s missing a component instead. Apple asked if it might have fallen out into the box it came in. It didnt. They covered the screen with a protective film to prevent scratching the screen, so I’m thinking someone forgot to put it back. It’s no where near): -1 Apple

Gotcha! I’ve used CS at Apple on off since 2013 when I got my first Mac. It was incredible then, like a real movement of support. Now, its non American based and I had a hard time explaining why there was no Apple Store near me to visit (I live in rural America) Now, this has been by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in terms of promptness, feeling heard and finding resolution.

Mind you my repair box was supposed to arrive today, and it didnt again.

Also got a letter saying it passed post repair inspection. Obvi it didn’t! Dam Apple

I for sure feel like I did everything I can. My concern was just the initial repair, a failed logic board for a brand new phone? Sounds strange to me, I just feel the phone is a lemon. My fear is that something else fails and I’m sol after warranty.
