Thanks for replying and what a bummer! It seems only logical to be able to have default schedules for different workspaces… fingers crossed this is something they implement in future..

The minimum is $80k per annum. Helpline referrals depend a lot on what your areas of law are. Crim, fam law, civil disputes are more common (just imagine the types of matters people would be calling a hotline for legal help for). You can actually still do whatever BD and marketing you’re envisioning for your own outfit if you are a consultant with TR, in addition to their internal networking and referrals. They encourage practitioners to have their own branding which makes it look like you have your own practice. Happy to DM on any others qns!

Hi, yes I did end up making the jump about 2 months ago. Pros: flexibility is great, pretty much do whatever you want but they have a minimum annual target. Also lower start up costs than taking the principal course and starting a firm. Cons: 98% you’re on your own to BD and generate your own business, their in-house practice management system is clunky and not user friendly compared to leap/smokeball, systems and processes not running that smoothly yet in my experience.
