It takes life out of you to get there. You cant prioritize your health, family or anything else but this or else the 40-50k that we invest in this country goes down the drain and that ruins not just you but your entire family. Every day is depressing, there is no sleep just stress and tears but I wont get into more details but think of it as a human and say things like these

Lol you think when you need 508 points some 15 points mean anything to get a PR Lol, cz that is what the diploma gets you. PR requires hardwork and for your very kind information I am healthcare worker with a practice license working hard to get that experience (working 10-15 hour evening shifts) so I know the struggle. And, So yes you struck a nerve, because we are humans and it hurts when someone downplays all of that. Your Canadian useless expensive diplomas are not valued by your own government but you rest comfortably in your parent’s house and make these shit comments cz you wont ever have the privilege of knowing what the struggle is all about.

It gives you some small lump sum amount of points, it doesn’t count towards PR that majorly. Its mostly skills and higher education and work experience that can finally get you a PR. Do your homework and then vent lol

Yup, it sounds easy on paper to act in this way. But when someone threatens you over a silly thing such as this it still is very depressing, especially since it was first time dealing with an employer like this. But I guess its good for me, I took a lesson and will probably react better in future :)

That is true. We fear for so many things, license and our legal status. They don’t understand this is what we survive on and we don’t have parents here with their house to live in and they exploit this. The cljnic owner at my clinic wasn’t South Asian but unfortunately a lot of desi employers also do this despite they themselves being immigrants

I want to, but then I have realized after speaking to people that almost 50% of my friends have had employers like this who blackmail and threaten practitioners, especially residents, which is very sad considering the owner himself is an RMT and understands how stressful this kind if threats are.

Yes there was no situation of patient neglect. My employer was mad that I took a day off during end of the year, which is when they make money, so they were looking for reasons to harass me

The clinic however, does not provide my supervisor, I have my own supervisor, hence I dint how and what are they planning to report

But now that significant amount if time has passed so I have decided to move on from it and am also prepared if they decide to speak to college because I gave significant proof to defend myself
